Pool Key Card Information

As our residents may have noticed, we replaced the fence and pool access gate in 2003. The new gate now has an electronic key card access locking system. All residents in good standing with the Association are eligible to use the pool during the summer season.

2008 update--a number of residents are not in good standing with the Association due to past due dues assessments, while others paid late and miscalculated the monthly penalties and interest still owed the Association. Those with outstanding dues balances have been turned over to the Association attorney Jason Davey, and any indebtedness must be cleared through him. Where penalties and interest only is owed, this can be cleared through the Association accountant's office.

New Residents

For residents who have recently moved in to the New Mark neighborhood: the previous homeowner should have left you one (white) International Electronics, Inc. HID ProxCard II. The back of the card has a 5 digit number in the top right corner (older cards) or a 5 digit number in the top center preceding a long number series (newer cards). You will need to contact either the Association Webmaster via the website contact form to arrange for the card to be registered for your family and to arrange a time to read and sign the Pool Rules form.

If you moved in and the previous owner did not leave you a card, you will need to contact the Association Webmaster to arrange a time to receive a new card and to read and sign the Pool Rules form available from the lifeguards or Association Webmaster. You may use the NMFPA contact form. Please be sure to include your email address and your phone number! NOTE: It may take up to 1 week for the card to be activated and allow you access to the pool.

Existing Homeowners

The current Pool Rules can be found following the link. Copies of the new Pool Rules will be available for your signature from the Association Webmaster, at the Clubhouse during Pool Key Activation evenings prior to the pool season, or from the lifeguards during the pool season. As long as you are--and remain--in Good Standing with the Association (your current and prior year's dues are paid in full, and no unpaid dues, penalties and interest, or clubhouse rental balance exists), on receipt of the signed Pool Rules form the card assigned to your house will be scheduled for activation for the season to allow access during the scheduled pool hours. NOTE: It may take up to 1 week for the card to be activated and allow you access to the pool.

For those who missed the pool key activation evenings, if you are in Good Standing with the Association you can visit the pool and ask a lifeguard for a copy of the Pool Rules for you to complete. We intend to update the gate access database on a weekly basis as needed once the pool opens--after signing the Pool Rules it may take up to 1 week before your access card will be activated. You will be allowed access after signing the rules, but until the card is activated a lifeguard will need to check your status and open the gate for you.

Lost Keys

For residents who lose their access card, you will need to contact the Association Webmaster to arrange a time to pay the replacement fee of $25.00 to receive a new card. NOTE: It may take up to 1 week for the card to be activated and allow you access to the pool. Please be aware that for security and access control we will deactivate the old card number assigned to your house, so please notify us as soon as you become aware of the lost or missing card.

So keep your card secure, follow the Rules and lifeguard instructions, and safely enjoy the current New Mark pool season!
