The next Board meeting will be held on 7/13/08.

Welcome to the website of the New Mark First Pool Association!

Welcome to all of the new families that have moved into the neighborhood! Involvement in your community is very important to the success of the Association. The easiest way to be involved is simply attend the meetings which are held every 2nd Sunday of the month at 7:00pm at the clubhouse. Your attendance, opinions, and input are the backbone of our community. We hope this website offers some helpful information for our 261 homeowners.

Neighborhood Events:

* * * READ THIS LETTER (PDF format) from the Clay County Assessor about a planned TAX INCREASE for our Association homeowners--and come to a Board meeting to discuss what action we can take....If you don't have the free Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader, here's an image file of the Clay Co. Assessor's letter.* * *

If any resident is interested in renting the clubhouse, visit the NMFPA Clubhouse Rental page, or you can use the NMFPA contact form and select the 'clubhouse' dropdown to send a request to our Clubhouse Manager (Mary Sue Perkins). Don't forget to include your street address.

Big and Bulky trash pickup: our neighborhood is scheduled for pickup on the 8th of even months. Details on this and other City services programs can be found on the KCMO City Services page.

POOL UPDATE - POOL OPEN!!

The inspector came this afternoon (6/23) and the pool passed inspection and we received the 2008 operating permits.

Electronic pool key access card information

2008 Pool Rules changes Pool rules signup nights will be: May 20 and 22, 2008 from 6PM to 8PM. To protect the Association, on Association attorney advice and in part due to recent incidents over the past 2 pool seasons involving alcohol, alcoholic beverages will be prohibited in and around the pool premises. With this change, new pool rules forms will need to be signed by the adult resident of each household before the pool access cards will be activated for the 2008 season. Reminder: pool access cards will not be activated for any Association member not in good standing (members with outstanding balances for dues, penalties and interest, or other fees).

Click the link and visit the web page with information regarding pool access cards. New residents will find out how to obtain a new card, and existing residents can find out what to do if your card is missing or lost. We have added a web page with a copy of the revised NMFPA Pool Rules.
